The first time you hear a riff from guitarist Omara Moctor aka Bambino, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were listening to something new by the Black Keys. Surprisingly, this gritty music actually finds its origins in Niger.

Bambino, a member of the Tuareg tribe, blends traditional Ishoumar with fierce and urgent Rock and Roll and Blues. This 33-year-old virtuoso has played with the Rolling Stones and his latest album, NOMAD was produced by none other than Dan Auerbach of you guessed it, The Black Keys.
